Self Installation
If you decide to install a system yourself, there are a few things you are going to require:
Equipment: You will need the receiver, the dish, the LNB, the appropriate cabling and brackets and an optional motor.
Install: There are many guides available online showing you how to psychically install the dish.
Signal: The tricky part comes when you are finding the signal. You can guess but this may take you a lot of time and you probably will not be able to pick up the satellite due to the preciseness of its position. Most installers use a meter, which range from a simple meter that just verifies you have got a signal to a more appropriate one which tells you which satellite you are on and how strong the signal is.
Getting it installed
Having one of our professional engineers fit the system for you is probably the most cost effective method in terms of time and quality of work.
- Firstly, they will survey your premises and find out where you are going to get the optimal signal. Once they have done this, they will advise you exactly where the dish is going and which way the cabling will be routed so that you get the best signal quality in your property.
- Once this is agreed, they will start the installation. They only use certified equipment (ladders, meters and other tools). If you need to ask anything during the installation, please do so. Our friendly team will answer all your questions and make sure you are completely happy with all aspects of it.
- On completion of their work, they will give you a demonstration so you understand the basics and you can get on and start watching your channels.
- Payment can be made by cash, cheque (only with a cheque guarantee card), debit or credit card. We accept most major cards and we only use secure card facilities to ensure your card details are kept safe.
We give a comprehensive guarantee with all our work and an after sales service that is hard to beat. Why not give us a call and see what we can do for you.
