  1. The house can be zoned, so you can turn off heating and cooling when these areas are not in use.
  2. Occupancy detectors can even switch off systems automatically when no activity is sensed.
  3. If your home has an orangery or conservatory, blinds can be opened and closed with sensor-governed electronics to regulate the temperature.
  4. Plus, a very useful feature if you are regularly away during the winter, heating can be turned on should the external temperature drop below a certain pre-set level.
