Products
Product images, descriptions and specifications are shown for guidance only. We will try to make them as accurate as possible but colours may differ; for example on cabinets, cases and brackets. Other design specifications that may change are on the remote control designs. Many stands and cabinets require assembly and your own tools to complete the work.
Guarantee
All products are supplied guaranteed for a minimum period of one year following the date of delivery, unless specified with the product description.

Our normal office hours are 9.00 am – 6.00pm Monday – Saturday.
Prices
All prices include VAT. We will not create a contract until your order is accepted. If a product is listed at a price that is incorrect due to a typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, we will only process your order after we have advised you of the correct price and received your authorisation to proceed. If we do not receive authorisation, we will not proceed.
Payment
Payment will only be taken when the order is processed, not at the time of order being placed. A contract between us is not formed until we have processed the transaction and started the dispatch process. We accept payment by most major credit and debit cards. We can also accept payment by cheque but will not dispatch goods until the cheque has cleared. Cash payments will only be accepted with orders completed in store.
Availability
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If the goods are not supplied as specified within a reasonable period of time, we may offer a similar product or will refund you if the transaction is cancelled. We shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or any expenses caused by any delay in the delivery of the goods if they are delivered in a reasonable period of time.
Delivery
Our aim is to deliver all goods ordered within 14 working days. This website will only process orders to British Mainland (British Mainland does not include Northern Ireland, Channel Islands or Isle of Man). If you live outside the British Mainland, we will be able to deliver but you would need to contact us to get a delivery quotation. We can then process the delivery over the phone. Prices quoted are subject to stock availability. It is your responsibility to check your goods upon delivery for shortages or damage and to make a note of such on the carriers consignment note when you sign for the goods.
Ownership
Ownership of goods will belong to the original purchaser only and any communications will only be between Digital Link and the original purchaser.
Description of Goods
Please note that any Special Order Item will not be accepted for refund unless faulty, as the item will be ordered especially for you and subsequently cannot be resold. Terms and conditions that apply do not affect your statutory rights.
Mail Order Return items are products that have been returned by customers. Each item is inspected and tested and repaired if necessary prior to being offered for sale.
Display items are products that have been on display: they may previously have been repaired during this period or may have been mail order returned products.
Your Right to Cancel
In line with the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel your order within seven working days following the day after the date of delivery and return the goods supplied to us for a refund. You must notify us in writing during this period of your intention to cancel by either:

If you exercise your right to cancel such goods under the “cooling off period”, the ownership of the goods will revert to the Digital Link; exceptions to the right includes sealed software, discs and tapes which have been opened. These will remain your property and will not be credited. Please also note, cables bought as accessories will only be accepted back if they are still in the original box and packaging which is still sealed. The regulations impose a responsibility for you to take reasonable care of any goods that have been supplied. Your obligation applies before as well as after you have given the notice of cancellation.
Once we have processed your email, we will then send you a cancellation reference which you must put on the parcel. PLEASE DO NOT SEND ITEMS WITHOUT OBTAINING A REFERENCE NUMBER. All goods must be returned to Digital Link, 169 Melton Road, Leicester, LE4 6QT at your own expense within 7 days of receiving a reference number.
1. If the item is not faulty you have 7 days from the date you received your order, we will give you the choice of an exchange or a refund, less the delivery charges. We are unable to accept goods back for a credit if they are unwanted gifts or non-faulty items 7 days after items have been received.
2. If the item is faulty you have 28 days from the date you received your order, we will give you a choice of an exchange or a refund, including any delivery charges, upon verification by our product testing team that the item is faulty. If we find that the product is not faulty, and you refuse to have the items returned, we will refund the item less any delivery charges and 20% administration and handling fee.
3. If the item is faulty after 28 days from the date you received your order, you will have two options. Firstly, you can send the item to us, where we can get it repaired for you. Please email us on faults@digi-link.co.uk. Alternatively, if you contact us via phone or email, we can give you the contact details of a service centre closest to you where you can get the item inspected. Each service centre has different policies so you may want to contact them before taking your item.
All good returned, must be complete with all accessories including any free gifts. The following tariff applies to products returned missing the original factory packed accessories. The prices are for guidance, the actual price may vary.

Instruction book - £5 to £15

SD card, Memory Stick etc - £10 to £80

Under Guarantee Repairs
All goods that develop faults should be reported to Customer Services by sending an email to faults@digi-link.co.uk detailing your problem. We will then follow this up by making two options available to you. Firstly, we can give you the address of your local service centre who will be able to cover all repairs under your warranty. You will need to ask the service centre if they will transport the item for you and if so, whether it is chargeable. Alternatively, you can return the item to us for a repair. The transportation expenses must be met by you and the return expenses will be met by us.
We advise that when packaging goods for return, the original box and packaging material should be used where available. If the goods be packaged in a negligent manner then you will be responsible for the damage that may be sustained during transit.
If no fault is found, a minimum service charge will be payable to the service centre. This can be discussed with them when booking the job in.
PLEASE NOTE: LCD panels are manufactured with a remarkably high level of precision technology. As such the manufacturer cannot guarantee and you need to be aware that sometimes parts of the screen may have missing or coloured pixels. This is not considered a malfunction with the LCD panel as the manufacturers have a tolerance level. This tolerance level is the minimum number of faulty pixels before the unit will be deemed as faulty for refund/exchange. We suggest contacting the manufacturer regarding the tolerance levels on their products.
Extended Guarantees
Domestic & General Insurance Ltd will cover any extended guarantees purchased through Sound & Vision. Damages and Breakdowns are dealt direct through Domestic & General Insurance. Please contact the claims department on Tel: 0870 549 0000 where they will process the claim on your behalf.
Acceptance & Risk
When the goods are delivered to your door you will be responsible for them. We will only deliver goods to the address on the order and goods will not be left without a signature.
From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your risk.
Any transit shortages and damages should be noted on the delivery consignment note at the time of delivery as this may prejudice your claim.
Errors and Omissions
In the event a product is listed or quoted at an incorrect price due to an error from our suppliers or publishers. We reserve the right to refuse any orders listed at the incorrect price. If your credit/debit card has been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a refund to your credit/debit card.
Other
You will own the goods once we have received your payment in full.

Complaints
Our aim is to always provide a high level of customer service, but sometimes mistakes can occur. We will do our utmost to rectify the problem. We take complaints very seriously. All complaints will be responded to within 5 working days.
